Apple released five new products at a special event Tuesday morning.
The new products include a fully-redesigned 24” iMac, featuring Apple’s latest M1 ARM-based processor, a 4.5K display and a starting price of $1,249 for students. The new 24-inch iMac is available in up to six colors — blue, green, red, silver, yellow, orange and purple.
Apple also announced an updated iPad Pro — available in both 11-inch and 12.9-inch models — with starting student prices of $749 and $999, respectively. The 2021 iPad Pro features an M1 chip, 5G wireless capabilities and a new liquid retina display. The iPad Pro was also complimented by the addition of a white Magic Keyboard option.
In addition to the new statement pieces released by the company this morning, Apple also introduced a new generation of Apple TV 4K, featuring a new remote, Wi-Fi 6 capabilities and the addition of HDMI 2.2 support. The new Apple TV starts at $179.
Finally, an all-new device, AirTag, was released. AirTag allows iOS users to add Find My iPhone tracking capabilities to wallets, keys and backpacks. AirTag includes multiple styles of keychain and holder options, including premium leather designs by Hermès. AirTag pricing starts at $29.
