Safety Committee addresses concerns on campus
From the upcoming pressure washing on Niemeyer’s roof to the latest fall from a ladder, the college safety committee wants to keep you informed.
According to their website, the mission of the Safety Committee of Clackamas Community College is to promote a safe working environment for staff, students and visitors.
“We do this by creating and maintaining an active interest in the safety of each college employee, assisting in the overall effort to minimize the frequency of accidents throughout the college, and to identify corrective measures needed to eliminate or control safety hazards,” their website states.
The Safety Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m. in the Lewelling building, located on the Oregon City campus.
The next Safety Committee meeting is Nov. 13.
All students are welcome to attend any Safety Committee meeting or contact any committee member with a safety-related concern.
