Two Computer Labs Opened at Oregon City Campus

Kit Emens-Hesslink, who teaches English for speakers of other languages, sits in an empty McLoughlin computer lab on the Oregon City campus on Tuesday, April 28. “I don’t see anybody signed up for this week,” said Emens-Hesslink.

If you do not have access to a computer, printer, or internet, Clackamas Community College has opened two computer labs at the Oregon City campus. The computer labs will be open on Mondays and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 8 p.m. The two labs are in McLoughlin Hall and are in rooms M130 and M132.

Due to COVID restrictions, space is limited to six students in each room. Each student can book two four-hour appointments each week. The computer lab in room M130 is intended for students who either need to participate in an online class or need to interact with an online tutor.

The second lab in room M132 is a quiet space for students to work. Students will need to bring their own headphones.

To sign-up, go to https://clackamas.mywconline.com. If you do not already have an account, you will need to register.  You will need to make a reservation before arriving on campus. On  arrival the student will head to M130 to complete a self-health check. While in the space masks are required and students are urged to follow all the posted signs and directions from the lab monitor. Questions? Email cougarconnect@clackamas.edu or call 503-594-6632.
