Volleyball falls short of playoffs

On Wednesday, Nov. 9, Clackamas volleyball had high hopes going into their sophomore night.

They needed some help from both Umpqua Community College and Mt. Hood Community College in order to force a tiebreaker for the fourth and final spot in the Southern Region division in the Northwest Athletic Conference.

Clackamas faced Chemeketa Community College and lost in three straight sets, 16-25, 23-25, 13-25, ending their chance to make it to the NWAC tournament.

They ended their season 5-9 in conference and 18-21 overall. Clackamas looks to replace six sophomores for next season.
